I’m adding an extra slice today since I didn’t post yesterday. It was a hectic day, and the truth is I just completely forgot!
This is one of the hardest parts about getting older. My memory is not what it used to be.
Sometimes it worries me. Are these early signs of Alzheimers?
A friend who worked for the Alzheimer’s Association assures me it’s not. She explains the difference:
“I forgot where I left my keys” is normal memory loss due to getting older.
“I can’t remember what these keys are for” are signs it might be Alzheimers.
This makes me feel better -- a little.
